Overview
The Technical Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in connecting business needs with technical solutions, focusing on system analysis, requirements definition, and driving process improvements. Collaborating with various business stakeholders and technical teams, this role aims to produce high-quality, scalable solutions that align with the company's goals and meet project deliverables. The position requires active engagement in system integrations, documentation, and ensuring that business expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and prioritise requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimisation.
- Perform root cause analysis and lead workshops to define business and system requirements.
- Produce high-quality documentation including functional specifications and data mapping documents.
- Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to define solution design.
- Support system integration efforts, including APIs and data flows.
- Ensure alignment between business expectations and technical delivery throughout projects.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) planning and execution.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Senior Business Analyst in technical environments.
- Strong expertise in writing detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Proven history of working on system implementations and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, data analysis, and APIs.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience working in Agile teams, including user-centred design.
- Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible language.
