Overview
The Senior Technical Business Analyst will bridge business needs with technical solutions by analyzing systems and defining requirements to drive process and system improvements. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders and development teams, this role focuses on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions while ensuring alignment between business expectations and technical delivery. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements, translating them into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, system optimization, and automation.
- Perform root cause analysis and lead workshops to define business and system requirements.
- Produce high-quality documentation, including functional specifications and data mapping documents.
- Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to define solution design and ensure feasibility.
- Support system integration efforts, including APIs, data flows, and third-party systems.
- Ensure alignment between business expectations and technical delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive delivery within tight timelines, ensuring effective cross-team collaboration.
Requirements
- Experience as a Senior Business Analyst, with significant exposure to technical environments, preferably in the public sector.
- Strong experience in writing detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Proven experience working on system implementations, integrations, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Hands-on experience or strong understanding of SQL, APIs, and data modeling.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience working in Agile, multidisciplinary teams including User-Centered Design colleagues.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
