Overview
The Azure Data Warehouse Developer will play a pivotal role in a dynamic data team focused on delivering modern cloud-based solutions. This contractor will design, develop, and optimize Azure data platforms while collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders to support strategic Microsoft 365 initiatives, including SharePoint and Copilot. Responsibilities
- Design and enhance Azure-based data warehouse solutions using modern cloud technologies.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines with Azure Data Factory.
- Develop scalable dimensional data models and star schema designs.
- Optimize SQL queries and improve warehouse performance while ensuring data quality.
- Create and maintain insightful Power BI dashboards that aid business decision-making.
- Automate workflows using Power Automate to streamline processes.
- Integrate data with SharePoint Online for improved reporting and collaboration.
- Support the adoption of Microsoft Copilot for enhanced productivity through structured data solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivering Azure data warehouse and analytics solutions.
- Strong SQL and T-SQL development skills, with expertise in query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and the Azure data platform.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, dimensional design, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience in developing reports and dashboards with Power BI.
- Proficient in building workflows and automations with Power Automate.
- Familiarity with SharePoint Online, specifically data integration and reporting solutions.
- Experience in supporting or delivering AI-enabled Microsoft 365 solutions, including Microsoft Copilot, is highly desirable.
