Overview
We are looking for an experienced Contract Business Analyst to support a Finance-focused transformation programme within a large organisation. The contractor will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, analyze and improve business processes, define requirements, and assist in the implementation of solutions. This role requires flexibility in working across both project and programme environments and offers a high chance of extension beyond the initial six-month contract period.
Responsibilities
- Support Finance-focused transformation programmes through comprehensive business analysis.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to elicit and document requirements.
- Analyze and improve business processes through mapping and redesign.
- Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and root cause analysis.
- Translate business needs into structured functional and non-functional requirements.
- Assist in testing, change management, training, and business readiness activities.
- Engage effectively with technical teams to ensure successful delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in diverse business and technology projects.
- Strong skills in business process mapping and process improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Experience facilitating workshops and conducting stakeholder interviews.
- Expertise in gap analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall delivery frameworks.
- Experience in Finance ERP implementations is essential.
