Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business/Systems Analyst to support the migration of a Policy Admin System, primarily functioning in a remote capacity with occasional travel to the Isle of Man. The analyst will collaborate closely with IT and business stakeholders to analyze, design, and implement system integrations, ensuring the new system operates at least as effectively as the current setup. This role requires a technically skilled individual who can navigate both the business and technical aspects of system migration and integration.
Responsibilities
- Map and document the current ('as is') integrations between the Policy Admin System and other internal and external systems.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to design the 'to be' interfaces for the new system.
- Support the implementation of interfaces, including thorough testing and validation prior to go-live.
- Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement during the migration process.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units throughout the migration.
Requirements
- Solid experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, preferably in insurance or financial services.
- Hands-on experience with Policy Admin System integrations and interfacing with digital and external solutions.
- Technical background including knowledge of overnight processing, batch jobs, SFTP, APIs, and server-to-server communications.
- Experience supporting or delivering system migrations, particularly involving Policy Admin Systems.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, facilitating communication between IT and business functions.
