Overview
We are seeking a skilled C&I Engineer with extensive experience in oil refinery turnarounds, particularly in RFCC units. The contractor will play a crucial role in the planning, preparation, and execution phases of a major turnaround project, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness for shutdown and commissioning. This position offers a long-term contract opportunity with a competitive rate.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate C&I turnaround work scope.
- Prepare management of change documentation.
- Oversee detailed work pack development.
- Identify resource and vendor requirements.
- Produce job plans, task lists, and cost and labour estimates.
- Coordinate vendor activities for SIS, DCS, PLCs, instrumentation, and analysers.
- Support punch list and close-out activities.
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in oil refining, petrochemical, or COMAH facilities.
- Proven turnaround planning and preparation experience.
- Background working on oil refinery turnaround projects, particularly in cracking/RFCC units.
- Strong Control & Instrumentation technical background, covering DCS, SIS, PLC, instrumentation, analyser, and field device maintenance.
- Experience with SAP PM or equivalent maintenance management systems.
- Ability to develop detailed work packs and execution plans.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Turnaround teams.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
