Overview
In this role as a Senior Authorised Person, you will support asset replacement campaigns on the OHL networks while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Collaborating closely with various teams, you will plan and execute outages on the 11kV networks and issue safety documentation. The successful candidate will have prior NPG authorisations and will be expected to work primarily in the Yorkshire region, with potential overnight stays during the week.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the completion of asset replacement campaigns on the OHL networks.
- Plan and execute outages on the 11kV networks.
- Issue safety documents and permits in compliance with client regulations.
- Cancel safety documents following the completion of work.
- Write and implement switching schedules to ensure safe operations.
- Conduct isolations on the networks for safe systems of work.
- Perform storm duties as needed.
- Report project progress and updates to the client.
Requirements
- Must have NPG 11kV Senior Authorised Person (SAP) authorisations with SFT.
- Experience in managing safety documents and permits on electrical projects.
- Ability to stay away from home Monday to Friday as required.
- Proficient in planning outages and executing switching schedules.
- Must provide own tools and travel means.
- Experience with compliance under safety regulations.
