Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP TM Super User to play a pivotal role in the rollout of an S/4HANA template across two UK sites for a chemical manufacturer. In this hands-on position, you will serve as the key business expert, facilitating the design, testing, and adoption of the Transportation Management (TM) module while ensuring that it meets the specific operational needs of the sites. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the successful implementation of the TM solution in collaboration with project teams and end-users and is expected to last for an initial three-month contract with potential for extension.
Responsibilities
- Act as the SAP TM subject matter expert, representing site and business requirements during the roll-out of the S/4HANA template.
- Support blueprint and design workshops, validating TM processes against real-world site operations.
- Own and execute test scripts across SIT, UAT, and regression testing cycles for TM processes.
- Identify and help resolve process or system gaps between the template design and site-specific requirements.
- Support data migration and cutover activities for transportation and logistics master data.
- Deliver end-user training and develop training materials for TM processes at both sites.
- Provide hypercare support post go-live by triaging and resolving TM-related issues.
- Collaborate closely with the project team, functional consultants, and site logistics/operations teams to ensure smooth adoption of the TM solution.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an SAP TM Super User, Key User, or similar role in a business-facing capacity.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP Transportation Management processes, including freight order management and carrier processes.
- In-depth understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations and their integration with TM.
- Experience supporting or participating in an S/4HANA implementation or template rollout.
- Proficient in executing test scripts and managing structured testing cycles (SIT/UAT).
- Ability to deliver end-user training effectively and support change adoption within the organization.
