Overview
We are seeking a Cloud Data Platform Specialist to play a crucial role in the operation and enhancement of a modern Microsoft Azure data platform. This position focuses on supporting and improving enterprise cloud data services and will require collaboration with technical teams while working within a compliance-focused environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in platform administration and operational support rather than data science.
Responsibilities
- Support the operation and administration of the Microsoft Azure data platform.
- Manage and improve enterprise cloud data services.
- Implement and maintain Microsoft Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL systems.
- Provide troubleshooting and platform support to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with teams on Azure DevOps for controlled deployments.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code practices with Terraform.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Azure technologies such as Databricks, Data Factory, and Azure SQL.
- Experience in operational support and administration of Azure data platforms.
- Familiarity with integration platforms, preferably Salesforce MuleSoft.
- Current or eligible for SC Clearance, or recently lapsed SC clearance.
- Experience in secure or highly regulated environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
