Overview
We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join our innovative technology team, focusing on AI and microservice development. The role involves collaborating with team leads and cross-functional experts to design and build scalable services and data pipelines, ensuring high performance and reliability. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong Python background and a passion for advancing AI technologies in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python microservices and scalable services.
- Collaborate on architecture and technical decisions with the Tech Lead.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver new features.
- Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and quality standards.
- Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions.
- Take ownership of technical issues and support end-to-end DevOps processes.
- Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge.
- Stay updated on AI and cloud engineering advancements.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Python development, with both object-oriented and functional programming skills.
- Proficiency in FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Pytest, and type checking.
- Experience with data manipulation libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Git/GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Docker.
- Experience in developing microservices and Lambda-based solutions.
- Strong skills in PostgreSQL database management.
- Knowledge of AI/ML technologies, particularly ASR, TTS, and LLMs is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Generative AI tooling is advantageous.
