Overview
We are looking for an experienced D365 Project Manager to lead a major business transformation programme within a manufacturing organisation. In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, technical teams, and implementation partners to ensure the successful delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, from planning through to deployment and support. You will play a crucial role in coordinating workstreams, managing delivery risks, and aligning project objectives with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of project delivery, ensuring milestones, budgets and deliverables are achieved against agreed plans.
- Establish project governance, reporting structures, delivery plans and resource requirements.
- Coordinate business and technical workstreams across the Dynamics 365 implementation.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to agree priorities and resolve blockers.
- Oversee delivery activities across D365 Finance & Operations, Supply Chain Management and related processes.
- Track project progress, manage dependencies and proactively address risks and changes to scope.
- Manage relationships with external delivery partners to maintain quality standards.
- Provide regular progress updates to programme leadership, highlighting key achievements and concerns.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation or ERP transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of D365 Finance & Operations and delivery challenges for large-scale implementations.
- Proven track record of managing project budgets, delivery schedules, resources and governance.
- Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and manage dependencies across teams.
- Experience collaborating with D365 specialists, including Business Analysts and Functional Consultants.
- Understanding of ERP implementation activities including solution design and testing.
- Experience managing project risks, issues, change control and stakeholder communications.
- Recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, PMP, APM or AgilePM.
