Overview
We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join a dynamic technology team on a contract basis. In this hybrid role, you will work on both legacy and modern cloud-based applications while collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that meet business needs. This position offers a chance to contribute to ongoing modernization efforts and engage in the full development lifecycle within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications built with C# and .NET.
- Work across both legacy and modern web applications.
- Build and optimise SQL Server databases, queries, and stored procedures.
- Support application upgrades and modernisation initiatives.
- Develop and consume REST APIs.
- Troubleshoot defects and resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with C# .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
- Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET Core.
- Experience with SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Familiarity with JavaScript and web application development.
- Knowledge of Git version control.
- Experience in supporting and enhancing business-critical applications.
- Nice to have: Azure, Vue.js, REST API development, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Entity Framework.
