Overview
The Data Migration Manager will oversee all aspects of data migration for a significant SAP ECC6 to S/4HANA transformation program within a global power technology organization. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition of critical data while leading data cleansing, validation, and ETL processes. This position allows for impactful contributions in a multinational and multicultural environment during a critical transformation phase.
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of data migration within the designated cluster.
- Develop a comprehensive project plan for data migration activities associated with the SGT rollout cluster.
- Conduct assessments of existing data to define scope and requirements for local migration.
- Oversee data cleansing and enrichment efforts to guarantee data accuracy.
- Validate migration tools and frameworks to support the migration strategy.
- Execute Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) processes efficiently.
- Monitor migration activities to uphold data quality standards.
- Ensure rigorous testing and validation of migrated data, maintaining thorough documentation to meet compliance standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in SAP data migration, specifically from ECC6 to S/4HANA.
- Demonstrable success in large-scale SAP implementation projects.
- Experience working effectively within multinational and multicultural teams.
- Strong understanding of data cleansing, closure, and migration processes.
- Familiarity with migration tools, infrastructure, and Data Migration Strategies (DMIG).
- Ability to validate and execute complex ETL processes.
- Excellent documentation skills to support compliance and audit needs.
