Overview
We are looking for a Senior DevOps and Platform Automation Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. In this hybrid role, you will collaborate closely with the DevOps & Automation leadership team to drive innovation in software delivery, focusing on intelligent automation and cloud-native solutions. You will play a critical role in enhancing our platform capabilities and implementing robust DevSecOps practices to support our strategic transformation towards highly automated and resilient technology services.
Responsibilities
- Partner with delivery teams and engineering leads to align platform capabilities with business priorities.
- Assess, plan, and execute technical workstreams supporting application delivery and operational excellence.
- Communicate progress, risks, and milestones transparently within Agile environments.
- Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation and deployment standards.
- Enhance software delivery pipelines through automation and CI/CD processes.
- Champion Infrastructure as Code for rapid environment creation and management.
- Embed security best practices throughout the development lifecycle and implement compliance controls.
- Manage application deployments across Windows and Linux platforms.
Requirements
- Proven experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Automation-focused environments.
- Background in software development with strong knowledge of C# and Java.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform.
- Hands-on experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines in Azure and Git-based environments.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of modern monitoring and observability principles.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and automated security solutions.
- Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Octopus Deploy, Datadog, Grafana, and Prometheus.
