Overview
The DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in supporting a prominent digital consumer brand by focusing on cloud security remediation and compliance documentation related to the CAF 4 framework. This position involves working closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers, ensuring compliance objectives are met across AWS and GCP environments, while providing regular updates to senior stakeholders on progress and risks.
Responsibilities
- Assess current security controls to identify necessary remediation for CAF 4 compliance.
- Implement changes across AWS infrastructure and GCP as required, focusing on IAM, MFA, and network segmentation.
- Produce audit-ready documentation to support compliance outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to validate shared security responsibilities.
- Deliver weekly progress updates to senior stakeholders regarding risks, blockers, and delivery status.
- Manage focus areas including supply chain risk, access control, and incident recovery.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience securing AWS environments; knowledge of GCP is a plus.
- Experience working with cyber security and compliance frameworks like CAF, NIS, or ISO 27001.
- Solid understanding of IAM, MFA, logging, monitoring, backup, and network segmentation.
- Proven ability to produce technical and compliance documentation for senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable in fast-paced delivery environments with a focus on immediate impact.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
