Overview
We are seeking a senior DevSecOps Architect for a 6-12 month contract role to work with a regulated organization. This position involves taking responsibility for a range of tasks, from initial assessments and architectural design through to practical Proof of Concept (PoC) delivery and establishing a roadmap for enterprise-wide adoption. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a key role in enhancing security integration across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the assessment and design of DevSecOps architecture solutions.
- Deliver hands-on Proof of Concept (PoC) projects addressing security needs.
- Define and implement a roadmap for enterprise-wide DevSecOps adoption.
- Integrate CI/CD security processes and tools into existing workflows.
- Monitor and enforce AI governance and security policies.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance software supply-chain security initiatives.
- Utilize tools such as GitHub Enterprise/Copilot for security integration.
Requirements
- Proven experience in DevSecOps and application security practices.
- Strong background in AI/GenAI security architecture and AI coding assistants.
- Expertise in CI/CD security integration techniques.
- Familiarity with SAST, SCA, SBOM, and software supply-chain security.
- Experience with enterprise security architecture methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in delivering Proof of Concept (PoC) projects.
- Knowledge of AI governance, monitoring, and policy enforcement.
- Proficiency with GitHub Enterprise or similar platforms.
