Overview
The Contract Digital Experience Manager will lead the development and enhancement of a corporate website for a council, focusing on setting its strategic direction and governance model. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to implement an improvement roadmap, ensuring an optimal user experience through effective use of digital tools and analytics. The position requires a blended approach of hands-on management and strategic oversight in a hybrid work environment, with two days spent on-site in Oxfordshire.
Responsibilities
- Develop the corporate website strategy and governance model.
- Implement standards and an assurance framework for the website.
- Create and manage an improvement roadmap for digital experiences.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance user journeys.
- Utilize low-code/no-code platforms and CMS effectively.
- Analyze user data using Google Analytics and other analytics tools.
- Ensure alignment with UX/UI principles and user-centered design practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience with low-code/no-code digital platforms.
- Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS).
- Proficiency in data analytics tools, particularly Google Analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to improve digital customer journeys.
- Experience in a management or leadership role within digital projects.
