Overview
The Interaction Designer will focus on creating safe and accessible digital services aimed at users with lived experiences of trauma and vulnerability. Working within a hybrid model, they will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and prototype sensitive healthcare-related journeys where clarity and psychological safety are paramount. The role is contract-based for six months and requires expertise in healthcare or similar environments.
Responsibilities
- Design user flows for complex, sensitive service journeys.
- Translate research insights into trauma-informed interaction designs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including research, clinical, and delivery personnel.
- Prototype and iterate designs based on user feedback.
- Ensure that accessibility and safeguarding considerations are incorporated into the designs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Interaction or UX Designer.
- Background in healthcare, social care, or services for vulnerable users.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed or ethical design principles.
- Proficiency in Figma and prototype development.
- Ability to work effectively with qualitative research insights.
