Overview
We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with active eDV Clearance to join a collaborative team working on exciting multi-year projects in the National Security sector. The contractor will develop and implement automated testing solutions, working closely with development and security teams to ensure the integrity and security of software applications. This role provides an opportunity to be involved in innovative projects that require a proactive and analytical approach to automation testing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement automated test scripts using Python 3.13+.
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks such as PyTest, Playwright, Selenium, or Robot Framework.
- Conduct testing of containerized applications using Docker.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins or other tools.
- Collaborate with security teams to automate security testing within delivery pipelines.
- Test APIs, user interfaces, integration points, and microservices.
- Utilize version control and test management tools like Git, Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automation Test Engineer, SDET, QA Automation Engineer, or a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with automated testing using Python 3.13+.
- Experience with Docker for testing containerized applications.
- Proficient in building automated test frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Playwright, Selenium, Robot Framework).
- Experience in API testing and integration testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD platforms like GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.
- Experience with Git and test management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
- Active eDV Clearance is essential for this role.
