Overview
We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with active eDV Clearance to join a dynamic team focused on projects within the National Security sector. The role involves leveraging your expertise in automation testing to contribute to multi-year programmes, collaborating with security teams and utilizing modern testing frameworks and tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated tests for software applications using Python.
- Build and maintain automated testing frameworks employing technologies like PyTest, Playwright, and Selenium.
- Integrate automated testing processes into CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.
- Collaborate with security teams to automate security testing procedures within delivery pipelines.
- Test APIs, user interfaces, microservices, and integration points to ensure robust application functionality.
- Manage testing processes and documentation using Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
- Conduct performance and load testing to evaluate application responsiveness and reliability.
Requirements
- Active eDV Clearance is mandatory for this position.
- Proven experience as an Automation Test Engineer, QA Automation Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong hands-on expertise in developing automated tests with Python 3.13 or higher.
- Experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker.
- Familiarity with building automated test frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Robot Framework.
- Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD platforms like GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.
- Knowledge of APIs testing, user interfaces, and microservices architecture.
