Overview
We are seeking experienced Electrical Design Engineers for various 6-12 month contract opportunities across the UK. The roles focus on working within established engineering and technology-led sectors, including Defence, Aerospace, Advanced Manufacturing, Automotive, and more. Successful candidates will engage with diverse engineering projects while benefiting from competitive hourly rates and potential contract extensions.
Responsibilities
- Develop electrical design solutions in compliance with industry standards.
- Create and review electrical schematics and documentation.
- Design control panels and manage LV/HV systems integration.
- Utilize EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical for design tasks.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project requirements.
- Support electrical integration, commissioning, and testing of machinery.
- Provide expertise in PLCs and industrial automation systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design and systems engineering principles.
- Proficiency in EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical software.
- Experience in control panel design and LV/HV systems.
- Familiarity with PLCs and industrial automation technologies.
- Ability to work across various engineering sectors and adapt to new challenges.
- Understanding of electrical integration and commissioning processes.
