Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team as a contractor. The ideal candidate will work remotely, focusing on leveraging NVIDIA GPUs and ARM architectures to develop and optimize software solutions, particularly in the realm of AI and computer vision. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to integrate complex systems are key aspects of this role, with an emphasis on immediate contribution and efficiency in deployment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize embedded software for NVIDIA GPU platforms using Python and CUDA.
- Integrate and deploy AI/ML models onto edge devices, ensuring smooth operation in embedded systems.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance video and camera processing capabilities while ensuring performance optimization.
- Debug issues across software, GPU, camera, and hardware to maintain system integrity and performance.
- Manage the integration of board support packages and embedded interface drivers with operating systems.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Python and AWS for software development.
- Proficiency in computer vision and video processing technologies.
- Hands-on experience with NVIDIA GPU platforms and CUDA/GPU computing.
- Familiarity with embedded systems, particularly ARM/Linux-based architectures.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize performance on constrained or edge hardware.
- Experience deploying machine learning models and inference workloads to embedded devices.
- Knowledge of Trusted Platform Module (TPM), secure hardware integration, and ARM TrustZone.
- Ability to navigate and contribute to an existing codebase with tight deadlines.
