EUC Consultant

Overview

The EUC Consultant will play a critical role in transforming the Windows device provisioning service within the organization. Working primarily on-site three days a week, this contract position involves hands-on delivery to assess the current environment, resolve issues, and implement effective endpoint provisioning solutions using Microsoft technologies. The consultant will collaborate with various teams, ensuring the transition to a modern, scalable provisioning process is successful and well-documented.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain optimised Windows 10/11 Gold Images for enterprise deployment.
  • Assess and troubleshoot the existing Windows laptop provisioning process.
  • Design and implement a reliable Microsoft Autopilot and Intune deployment solution.
  • Build automated, low-touch Windows 11 provisioning processes.
  • Configure and optimise Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID, and compliance policies.
  • Resolve issues related to application deployment, device registration, and identity integration.
  • Define end-to-end provisioning processes, SOPs, and governance.
  • Produce technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer to BAU support teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience creating and managing Windows Gold Images.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Autopilot and Intune.
  • In-depth knowledge of Entra ID, Conditional Access, and device compliance.
  • Experience with Windows 11 deployment and endpoint automation.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
  • Familiarity with SCCM, MECM, or MDT.
  • Experience with application deployment and packaging, specifically Win32 applications.
  • Experience in recovering failing endpoint provisioning services within large enterprise settings.
