Overview
The Finance Transformation Specialist will play a crucial role in a significant ERP migration project, moving from NetSuite to SAP for a global retail business. This senior position is geared towards individuals with strong hands-on experience in SAP transformation and financial data migration. The specialist will collaborate closely with Finance, IT, and transformation teams to ensure the successful delivery of the migration programme.
Responsibilities
- Support the migration of financial data from NetSuite to SAP.
- Conduct detailed data analysis, cleansing, and validation.
- Manage data quality and ensure financial data integrity throughout the migration.
- Perform detailed financial reconciliations between legacy and new systems.
- Support data migration testing, validation, and UAT.
- Investigate discrepancies, identify data issues, and drive resolutions.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and wider transformation teams to ensure successful migration.
Requirements
- Proven experience in large-scale ERP or finance transformation programmes.
- Strong hands-on SAP experience in a migration or implementation environment.
- Extensive experience in financial data migration, cleansing, analysis, and reconciliation.
- Experience in data testing, validation, and defect resolution.
- Solid understanding of finance processes and financial data.
- NetSuite experience, especially in a migration context, is advantageous.
- Genuine hands-on experience in finance data workstream of an ERP transformation.
