Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fuel Cell Systems Engineer to support an aerospace program on a contract basis. This hands-on role will involve designing, architecting, and integrating the fuel cell system, working collaboratively with various engineering teams to manage system interfaces and components.
Responsibilities
- Design and integrate fuel cell system architecture.
- Oversee balance-of-plant system and component integration.
- Manage low-pressure hydrogen and gas distribution.
- Specify and integrate valves, blowers, and flow regulation equipment.
- Define system requirements and interfaces.
- Support development, validation, and troubleshooting processes.
- Collaborate with stack, mechanical, controls, and test engineering teams.
Requirements
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of PEM fuel cells at a system level.
- Possess extensive systems engineering, architecture, and integration experience.
- Have experience with balance-of-plant and fluid/gas systems.
- Demonstrate proficiency in requirements and interface management.
- Have hands-on experience in system development and validation.
- Aerospace experience is preferred; however, candidates from regulated or safety-critical industries will be considered.
