Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack AI Data Engineer to join our team on a fully remote contract basis. In this role, you will combine your expertise in data engineering, application development, and AI engineering to build and deliver cutting-edge AI solutions for global clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to design and implement modern data platforms, scalable APIs, and production-grade AI applications that address real business challenges.
Responsibilities
- Design modern cloud data platforms.
- Build scalable Python services using FastAPI.
- Create modern web applications (such as Next.js).
- Design robust data models and data pipelines.
- Develop production-ready AI applications utilizing RAG, AI Agents, and LLMs.
- Construct AI workflows incorporating tool calling and evaluation frameworks.
- Deploy cloud-native solutions within AWS.
- Make key technical decisions and collaborate directly with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Python software development.
- Strong knowledge of Python FastAPI (or similar) and REST APIs.
- Experience with microservices and backend architecture.
- Hands-on experience with data engineering technologies such as Snowflake, SQL, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Expertise in production AI engineering, including RAG and LLM integrations.
- Experience with cloud technologies, notably AWS.
- Familiarity with modern software engineering practices, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience in client-facing roles with strong communication skills.
