Overview
We are seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to join a dynamic and innovative technology business on a contract basis. This role will primarily focus on developing scalable applications using Java technologies and will involve collaboration with a team engaged in cutting-edge projects. The position offers flexibility, as it is fully remote and has a potential for extension beyond the initial six months.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable web applications using Java and Micronaut frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Implement data streaming solutions, ideally using Kafka.
- Utilize Angular for frontend development to enhance user experience.
- Manage cloud infrastructure with AWS services.
- Apply AI coding techniques to improve software efficiency and quality.
- Conduct automated testing and maintain CI/CD processes.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java Micronaut or Spring Boot frameworks.
- Proficient in data streaming technologies, preferably Kafka.
- Experience in frontend development using Angular.
- Good AWS cloud service experience.
- Familiarity with AI coding techniques, such as Claude code.
- Preferred knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure management.
- Experience with automated testing tools like Cucumber or similar.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting.
