DevOps Engineer

Overview

The DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in a global organization undergoing a significant transformation in cloud, platform, and automation. Working entirely remotely, the contractor will be integral to a modern engineering team, focusing on building and managing secure and scalable cloud-native platforms across a complex international landscape. This position emphasizes infrastructure as code, automation, and security, enabling engineering teams to deliver applications efficiently and securely.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines and deployment standards.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and related tooling.
• Support and enhance Kubernetes-based platforms and containerised workloads.
• Build reusable automation frameworks and GitHub Actions workflows.
• Implement security, compliance and policy controls across engineering pipelines.

Requirements

• Proven commercial experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong expertise with Cloud (minimum two of Azure, AWS, GCP), Terraform and modern CI/CD practices.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience.
• Experience implementing security and quality controls within engineering pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code, automation and cloud governance.
