Overview
The Knowledge Graph/Ontology Engineer will play a critical role in developing and delivering enterprise Knowledge Graph and semantic data capabilities. This hands-on position requires expertise in ontology development and data engineering, translating requirements into scalable solutions. The engineer will collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and technical teams to integrate structured and unstructured data, ensuring accessibility through both traditional and natural-language querying methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement Knowledge Graphs and ontologies.
- Build and evolve enterprise semantic data layers.
- Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple enterprise sources.
- Develop solutions using RDF, OWL, SPARQL and Semantic Web technologies.
- Create semantic, reusable and queryable data products.
- Develop approaches for querying and navigating enterprise Knowledge Graphs.
- Support natural-language querying across enterprise data and Knowledge Graphs.
- Apply strong data integration and engineering principles throughout the Knowledge Graph build.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in Knowledge Graph development and implementation.
- Proficient in ontology development and semantic modelling.
- Strong knowledge of RDF, OWL, and SPARQL.
- Experience with Semantic Web technologies.
- Proficiency in structured and unstructured data integration.
- Experience in creating semantic and queryable data products.
- Ability to implement natural-language querying over enterprise data and/or Knowledge Graphs.
- Experience working collaboratively with Enterprise Architecture teams.
