Overview
The Global Programme Manager for MES Transformation will lead a significant transformation project within a global pharmaceutical organization, focusing on Manufacturing Execution Systems across multiple sites. Working closely with diverse stakeholders and technology partners, the role entails orchestrating a comprehensive implementation strategy that spans several countries and regions. This senior leadership position requires extensive experience in executing multi-site MES implementations specific to pharmaceutical manufacturing, driving alignment and project success across various teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of a three-year global MES transformation roadmap.
- Develop and manage programme budgets and implementation milestones.
- Coordinate and oversee international project managers and delivery teams.
- Manage relationships with multiple vendors and systems integration partners.
- Monitor programme risks and dependencies across regional workstreams.
- Engage senior stakeholders to align priorities and progress.
Requirements
- Extensive programme leadership experience with 15+ years in the field.
- Proven experience in delivering global or multi-site MES implementations in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Experience with MES platforms such as Werum PAS-X or Tulip.
- Strong skills in roadmap development and budget management.
- Experience managing complex vendor ecosystems and remote teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities at senior levels.
- Familiarity with project delivery methodologies like Agile, PMP, or PMI.
