Overview
The IAM Engineer will play a vital role within a dynamic security function, focusing on two major identity and access management (IAM) projects involving SailPoint and Delinea. This hands-on position entails configuring platforms, building integrations, and ensuring the solutions are effectively embedded across the technology landscape. The engineer will collaborate closely with the IAM Lead and other security teams to drive impactful technical delivery and contribute to the overall IAM environment.
Responsibilities
- Configure and develop SailPoint and Delinea solutions.
- Integrate both platforms with existing applications, systems, and identity infrastructure.
- Support and improve IAM processes across the organisation.
- Work extensively with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Develop and automate Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes.
- Support identity lifecycle management, access provisioning, and deprovisioning.
- Troubleshoot technical issues across IAM integrations and drive solutions to implementation.
- Collaborate with the IAM Lead and security teams to deliver live security projects.
Requirements
- Proven depth of experience in hands-on IAM engineering.
- Deep product knowledge of SailPoint and/or Delinea, with strong configuration abilities.
- Experience configuring and integrating IAM platforms, not just administering them.
- Strong proficiency with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience with JML automation and identity lifecycle management.
- Understanding of Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management, and access controls.
- Experience working within complex security or technology environments.
- An engineering-focused approach, with the ability to take ownership of technical delivery.
