Overview
We are seeking experienced IBM DataStage Engineers to join a major data transformation programme focused on migrating and modernising enterprise data platforms. In this hands-on engineering role, you will collaborate with a team of professionals to develop, support, and maintain ETL solutions, contributing significantly to a large-scale data migration project. Your expertise in ETL development and data integration will be crucial as you work to enhance the data landscape within the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Develop ETL solutions using IBM DataStage to support data migration efforts.
- Support and maintain existing ETL processes within a complex data landscape.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure successful extraction and transformation of data.
- Utilise strong SQL skills for data manipulation and integration tasks.
- Participate in the migration of data from the Netezza data warehouse.
- Provide insights and recommendations related to ETL best practices and improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IBM DataStage ETL development and maintenance.
- Strong SQL development skills and ability to work with complex queries.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory and large-scale data migration projects.
- Familiarity with Netezza and Cognos is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
