Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a critical integration project within a not-for-profit organization. The contractor will work closely with multiple senior stakeholders, driving business change, compliance, and risk management while ensuring a smooth transition for an acquired business into the host environment. This hybrid role offers three days of remote work per week and has a potential assignment duration up to March 2027, with possible extensions.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex IT projects within the housing sector focusing on compliance and risk management.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across various departments to identify and deliver project needs.
- Develop and implement project plans that align with business objectives and compliance standards.
- Assess the acquired business's readiness for Awaab’s Law from an IT and compliance perspective.
- Plan and execute migration strategies to integrate the acquired business into the host environment.
- Monitor project progress and adapt plans as necessary to meet changing requirements.
- Ensure effective communication and relationship building among all stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing complex IT projects, particularly within the housing sector.
- Strong understanding of business change, compliance, and risk management principles.
- Ability to engage and manage multiple senior stakeholders effectively.
- Experience leading teams in ambiguous environments and delivering structured solutions.
- Self-starter with a strong focus on delivery and collaboration.
- Knowledge of Awaab's Law is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with a flexible approach.
