Overview
The Interim Finance Director will play a key role in guiding a high-growth, private equity-backed telecommunications company through its next phase of expansion. This position reports directly to the CEO and entails close collaboration with the private equity sponsor, leading the finance function and providing essential commercial leadership across the business.
Responsibilities
- Lead the finance function and manage a small team.
- Own monthly management reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Provide commercial insight to the CEO and leadership team.
- Drive cash management and working capital optimization.
- Strengthen financial controls and reporting processes.
- Support the business through continued growth and operational change.
- Provide analysis and reporting to the private equity shareholder.
- Support M&A and integration activity as required.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
- Previous experience as a Finance Director or in senior finance leadership roles.
- Strong background in telecoms, technology, infrastructure, or recurring-revenue businesses.
- Proven experience in a private equity-backed environment.
- Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management abilities.
- Comfortable operating in a hands-on interim capacity.
