Overview
The role of Interim HR Process Transformation Lead focuses on driving a transformative HR initiative within a major organization implementing SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors. The contractor will collaborate closely with senior HR and transformation leaders to lead diagnostic activities, assess current processes, and define future-state operational models across various HR functions. This position emphasizes delivering a structured, evidence-based transformation roadmap that aligns with best practices while reducing unnecessary customizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead HR discovery and diagnostic activities across the Hire-to-Retire processes, systems, and data.
- Assess the current HR operating model to identify inefficiencies, risks, and value opportunities.
- Define future-state HR processes and operating models with a focus on standardization and automation.
- Compile findings from various HR functions including Core HR, Recruitment, and Payroll.
- Challenge recommendations and designs from external consultancies and System Integrators.
- Identify transformation enablers such as data harmonization and process optimization.
- Create a prioritized HR Transformation roadmap and associated business cases.
- Engage senior stakeholders to communicate transformation governance and execution plans.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading HR transformation discovery/diagnostic phases specifically in an SAP-enabled environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Hire-to-Retire processes, including Core HR, Recruitment, and Payroll.
- Experience in current-state assessment and future-state process design for HR functions.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors with the ability to challenge unnecessary customizations.
- Experience managing and challenging external consultancies and System Integrators.
- Proven ability to transform findings into a prioritized roadmap and business case.
- Strong commercial judgment regarding value-based prioritization and investment decisions.
- Ability to operate credibly with senior HR and executive stakeholders.
