Overview
The Commercial Manager will play a key role in the infrastructure division of a rapidly growing company, focusing on the successful delivery of various infrastructure projects. Working closely with a small commercial team, the contractor will manage cost-related aspects of projects, engage in subcontractor negotiations, and provide commercial reporting, all while contributing to the development of sustainable infrastructure solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage cost management processes and monthly valuations for infrastructure projects.
- Oversee subcontractor management and change management activities.
- Contribute to commercial reporting and manage CVRs.
- Lead and mentor a small team of commercial staff.
- Ensure the successful delivery of a portfolio of infrastructure schemes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project development and execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager within the civil engineering, water, or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong background working with main contractors.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Full UK driver's license required.
