Overview
The IT Security Environment Administrator will play a vital role in the deployment and operational support of enterprise Power Platform solutions. This position involves collaboration with developers, platform administrators, and business stakeholders to ensure secure, efficient releases and reliable day-to-day platform operations. The contractor will contribute to the successful adoption of modern, low-code, and AI-powered solutions while maintaining critical business applications and supporting user needs across various environments.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and promote solutions from Test environments into UAT and Production through established release processes.
- Manage users, security groups, and Dataverse security roles to ensure effective governance and access control.
- Administer Copilot Studio agents, including publishing, monitoring, and managing knowledge sources across environments.
- Maintain Power Automate flows, connection references, environment variables, and platform configurations.
- Provide first-line support for incidents and operational issues across UAT and Production environments.
- Monitor platform health and support the ongoing operation of business-critical applications and automations.
- Ensure all deployment and operational activities align with governance, security, and change management standards.
Requirements
- Experience administering and deploying solutions within Microsoft Power Platform environments.
- Strong understanding of Dataverse security, user administration, and role-based access control.
- Strong understanding of IT security principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience managing and supporting Copilot Studio agents.
- Knowledge of Power Automate flows, connection references, and environment variables.
- Strong troubleshooting, support, and incident management capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
