Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with a focus on application architecture to support a project within the Microsoft ecosystem. This position will involve translating business requirements into scalable application solutions while collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders, including business analysts, delivery teams, and third-party suppliers. The role emphasizes application integration and design rather than infrastructure, ensuring that solutions align with enterprise standards and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain application solution architectures across the Microsoft ecosystem, including M365, Azure/Entra, and Power Platform.
- Translate business requirements and processes into application solution designs and technical specifications.
- Design application integrations considering APIs, data flows, and identity management.
- Assess existing applications to identify integration and optimization opportunities.
- Ensure application solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards and security policies.
- Provide architectural guidance on Microsoft 365 and Power Platform capabilities.
- Support the design and governance of AI-enabled applications and solutions.
- Communicate architectural decisions and risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect with a focus on application architecture.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra, and Power Platform.
- Experience in application integration, architecture documentation, and solution design.
- Understanding of APIs, data flows, authentication, and SSO connections.
- Ability to assess and modernize existing applications and business systems.
- Knowledge of security policies and governance around application solutions.
- Experience collaborating with diverse teams, including technical specialists and vendors.
- Understanding of AI integration considerations and best practices.
