Overview
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to play a pivotal role in supporting a major network deployment environment. Working in a hybrid setting with two days on-site each week, you will collaborate closely with the Logistics Senior Manager to manage logistics, stock control, and warehouse operations. This hands-on position is focused on optimizing the delivery and availability of equipment across multiple deployment programs while maintaining cost efficiency and encouraging process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Support the Logistics Manager in logistics and warehouse management activities.
- Ensure adherence to defined logistics and warehouse processes, promoting continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with suppliers and delivery partners to ensure accurate forecasting and delivery of equipment.
- Coordinate with Deployment Teams to align stock forecasts with budgets and deployment plans.
- Identify opportunities to reduce inventory while maintaining equipment availability.
- Manage and validate equipment call-offs, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor stock levels and associated costs, reporting on inventory management outcomes.
- Proactively handle reverse logistics, including decommissioning and returning equipment for reuse.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a logistics role within a high-paced, technical delivery environment.
- Strong grasp of end-to-end logistics processes, including forecasting and stock management.
- Experience managing logistics services through third-party suppliers and contractors.
- Strong data analysis skills complemented by financial awareness.
- Proficient in managing supplier relationships and ensuring quality standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Problem-solving attitude with an ability to work under pressure.
- Desirable experience in telecommunications or large-scale network deployment.
