Overview
The Microsoft D365 F&O Solution Architect will play a critical role in supporting a large multi-site organization by leading the design and implementation of a secure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) environment. The architect will work closely with an internal team to enhance capabilities and streamline processes across several locations. This position provides a unique opportunity to influence the operational roadmap while also mentoring team members and ensuring best practices in security and architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design and lead the implementation of a D365 F&O environment that meets security requirements.
- Provide architectural oversight for the Project Operations and Project Ledger modules.
- Collaborate with the in-house D365 team to manage bi-annual update cycles.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate duplication of effort across multi-site operations.
- Define security architecture, access controls, and governance for the system.
- Engage with stakeholders and leadership to shape the platform's future roadmap.
- Document processes and provide mentoring for the internal D365 team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect for Microsoft Dynamics 365: F&O implementations.
- Extensive hands-on experience configuring secure D365 F&O environments.
- Familiarity with Project Operations and Project Ledger modules.
- Experience managing or advising on update cycles in D365 F&O.
- Ability to work across multi-site organizations, streamlining processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid capacity with regular on-site presence.
