Overview
The Dynamics 365 Report Writer will provide essential support for reporting, management information, and systems migration within our client's operations in the rail industry. This role requires expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, particularly in Finance & Operations and Supply Chain Management, to develop effective reporting solutions and collaborate with key stakeholders to address their reporting needs. The contractor will work closely with business systems and play a vital role in ongoing migration activities.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reports and management information within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Develop and improve MI and reporting capabilities using data from Dynamics 365.
- Support systems and data migration activities effectively.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.
- Oversee and support a Microsoft Fabric Engineer team member.
- Work with bespoke business systems to manage data flow between platforms.
- Support the migration of Conga CMS content and processes to SharePoint.
Requirements
- Very strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience in Dynamics 365 reporting and report writing.
- Proficiency in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
- Proficiency in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM).
- Strong experience in producing management information and business reporting through Dynamics 365.
- Previous experience with systems and data migration.
- Ability to work with bespoke systems without requiring prior product-specific knowledge.
- Nice to have: Microsoft Fabric experience and SharePoint migration experience.
