Overview
We are seeking a skilled Solutions Architect to join a dynamic organization on a six-month contract basis. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, focusing on the modernization of data management, integrations, and business processes. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to enhance reporting capabilities, automate manual tasks, and ensure the reliability and accessibility of data for strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Take technical ownership of the enterprise Data Warehouse and lead its ongoing development.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and integrations between critical business systems.
- Build and optimize data models that support analytics and business intelligence reporting.
- Support reporting solutions utilizing Power BI and other analytical tools.
- Identify new reporting requirements by working with stakeholders to explore data opportunities.
- Design and develop business applications and APIs, and build automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Provide technical guidance on applications, integrations, and data platforms, ensuring scalability and security of solutions.
- Collaborate with business users and third-party suppliers to translate requirements into technical solutions and promote best practices within the team.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience in software development and solution design.
- Proven expertise in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise Data Warehouses.
- Excellent SQL and database development skills, with hands-on experience building ETL/ELT processes.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure data services and associated technologies.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
- Experience in developing APIs and system integrations is essential.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, architecture, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly in regulated environments.
