Overview
The Research & Insights Consultant will play a pivotal role in leading the agency's research efforts, focusing on delivering strategic insights for a diverse portfolio of global clients. This position involves collaborating with senior stakeholders and guiding junior researchers to ensure high-quality outputs that drive impactful social media strategies. Working in a hybrid environment, the consultant will turn complex data into clear and actionable recommendations while supporting clients in understanding campaign performance and audience behaviour.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the production of monthly reporting and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to ensure accuracy and client readiness.
- Quality assure reports and recommendations created by junior researchers and analysts.
- Translate complex social media data into actionable commercial recommendations.
- Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
- Provide consultancy on social media performance and campaign effectiveness.
- Utilize social listening and intelligence data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Answer research inquiries from client services teams and offer strategic guidance.
- Develop insight-led business cases, case studies, and client proposal materials.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in research, insight, and measurement within a social-first agency or media environment.
- Proficient in producing and presenting monthly reports and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for senior stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of social listening, social intelligence, and social media measurement.
- Hands-on experience with social analytics tools such as Sprinklr, Talkwalker, Pulsar, Emplifi, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and develop actionable insights.
- Experience in creating engaging presentations and storytelling based on complex analysis.
- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills with senior audiences.
- Experience in mentoring junior researchers or analysts and ensuring quality assurance in reporting.
