Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cutover Manager to join a leading technology consultancy focused on the public sector. In this hybrid role, you will work collaboratively with various teams to oversee and ensure the successful cutover from current systems to a new cloud-based platform, making a significant impact on service delivery. Your expertise will guide stakeholders throughout the transition process, promoting smooth operations and addressing any challenges that arise.
Responsibilities
- Lead and control the integrated cutover planning to ensure a smooth transition.
- Coordinate activities across finance, HR, technical, testing, and business readiness teams.
- Manage dependencies, risks, and issues, escalating as required to maintain programme momentum.
- Provide assurance on cutover readiness by overseeing rehearsals, checkpoints, and final walk-throughs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive cutover plans, reports, and escalation procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing complex cutover, transition, or transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of implementation planning, data migration, service transition, and operational handover.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to interpret detailed readiness evidence and advise senior stakeholders confidently.
- Organisational skills to maintain control in high-pressure environments.
