Overview
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Service Cloud Developer to join a dynamic team on a flexible contract basis of 2-3 months, with the possibility of extension or a transition to a permanent role. This position will focus on the development, configuration, and enhancement of Oracle Service Cloud solutions to optimize customer service operations, working closely with stakeholders to deliver efficient and secure platforms that meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Configure and administer Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow) applications to meet business requirements.
- Design, create, and maintain custom objects, fields, tables, and relationships to support tailored customer service processes.
- Develop and configure business rules, workflows, and automation processes to streamline operations.
- Configure workspaces, reports, dashboards, and user interfaces to enhance user experience and operational visibility.
- Support data management activities, including data imports, exports, and integrity checks to ensure high-quality data standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze needs, and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform, configuration, and data issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and development activities for future reference and compliance.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.
- Certification in Oracle Service Cloud is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of database design, SQL, and enterprise integration concepts.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within agile teams.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
