Overview
The Oracle Developer will work on a contract basis, with the possibility for part or full-time flexibility, focusing on the configuration and development of Oracle Service Cloud solutions. This role is suited for technical professionals who excel in system configuration and have a strong background in Oracle Service Cloud. The contractor will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable and efficient customer service solutions.
Responsibilities
- Configure and administer Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow) applications to meet business requirements.
- Design, create, and maintain custom objects, fields, tables, and relationships.
- Develop and implement business rules, workflows, and automation processes.
- Configure workspaces, reports, dashboards, and user interfaces to enhance user experience.
- Support data management activities including data imports, exports, and integrity checks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform, configuration, and data issues promptly.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and development activities for compliance.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent commercial experience.
- Proven experience in developing and configuring Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow).
- Knowledge of SQL, database design, and experience with API integrations.
- Strong ability to design custom objects, manage data models, and implement business rules.
- Oracle Service Cloud certification is desirable but not mandatory.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the Oracle ecosystem.
- Ability to obtain DBS clearance if necessary.
