Overview
This role as an Oracle Developer involves contributing to the development and configuration of the Oracle Service Cloud platform to enhance customer service solutions. The selected candidate will work closely with stakeholders to deliver effective system configurations and integrations, playing a vital part in improving operational efficiency. Flexibility in working hours is offered, with consideration for both part-time and full-time arrangements during the initial 2-3 month contract period.
Responsibilities
- Configure and administer Oracle Service Cloud applications to meet business requirements effectively.
- Design, create, and maintain custom objects, fields, and tables to support customer service workflows.
- Develop and configure business rules, workflows, and automation processes to enhance operations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues and data discrepancies promptly.
- Document technical designs and configurations for future reference.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience in Oracle Service Cloud development.
- Proven experience with Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow) and system configuration.
- Understanding of data migration, API integrations, and system customization.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Oracle Service Cloud certification is desirable but not essential.
