Overview
The Blue Yonder WMS Developer will engage with a global supply chain organization to deliver expert development and configuration services for Blue Yonder WMS systems. This role involves collaborating with a team of developers to enhance warehouse management processes and ensure high-quality solutions are deployed in a timely manner. The contractor will work on system upgrades and support, contributing to the continuous improvement of logistics operations through innovative technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and deploy Blue Yonder WMS customisations and integrations.
- Conduct thorough unit testing to ensure solution quality and performance.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including functional specifications and operational procedures.
- Provide second and third-line support for Blue Yonder WMS incidents and change requests.
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and version migrations while minimizing disruption to business operations.
- Liaise with internal infrastructure teams to ensure reliability and performance of the system.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing warehouse automation.
Requirements
- Proven experience developing and supporting Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS, ideally in a large-scale distribution environment.
- Strong proficiency in MOCA and SQL development within the Blue Yonder ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder Integrator, including design and configuration of integrations.
- Good knowledge of Blue Yonder Page Builder for action and batch processing maintenance.
- Solid understanding of database architecture, with experience in Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with integration methods such as SFTP, APIs, and web services.
- Proficiency with Git for source control and collaborative development.
- Experience working in a structured software development team environment.
