Overview
The Oracle Developer role is a contract position focused on the development, configuration, and enhancement of Oracle Service Cloud solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical configurations while troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure optimized customer service operations. This position allows for flexible part or full-time hours and provides an opportunity to contribute to significant projects within a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities
- Configure and administer Oracle Service Cloud applications to meet business needs.
- Design, create, and maintain custom objects and fields to support business processes.
- Develop and configure business rules, workflows, and automation processes.
- Support data management activities including imports, exports, and integrity checks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements for technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform and data issues to minimize disruptions.
- Support integrations between Oracle Service Cloud and third-party applications.
- Document technical designs and configurations for compliance and future reference.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent commercial experience.
- Certifications in Oracle Service Cloud are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in developing and configuring Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow).
- Strong understanding of custom fields, objects, tables, and relationships.
- Knowledge of SQL, database design, and data migration processes.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and familiarity with API integrations.
- Ability to obtain DBS clearance if necessary.
