Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Solution Architect to lead the technical solution design for Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll implementations, with an emphasis on UK Payroll. The successful contractor will collaborate with delivery teams to address complex system challenges and integrate HCM modules under UK payroll legislation. This role requires a balance of technical knowledge, solution architecture expertise, and the ability to mentor others in delivering compliant, effective HR solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture for Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll implementations, ensuring compliance with UK payroll legislation.
- Guide and mentor payroll consultants and delivery teams, providing architectural oversight.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex solution challenges and data integration issues across HCM modules.
- Facilitate workshops to translate client business requirements into Oracle HCM solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on payroll processing, testing, and validation activities.
- Ensure end-to-end solution design, maintaining data accuracy and payroll reliability.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve system issues and ensure solution integrity.
- Advise on Oracle HCM capabilities and enhancements, contributing to pre-sales activities.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Oracle Cloud HCM, specifically with UK Payroll implementations.
- Proven background in a Solution Architect or senior solution leadership role within complex Oracle HCM projects.
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with Oracle HCM modules, including Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, OTL, and Workforce Scheduling.
- Ability to design technical solutions and understand cross-module dependencies and integrations.
- Experience in leading workshops and converting business needs into technical solutions.
- Demonstrated mentoring capabilities to guide consultants and teams effectively.
- Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder management and requirement translation.
